Rapid cerebral amyloid deposition and gliosis in 5XFAD line Tg6799. Serial sections of hippocampus and cortex from two- (A, E, I, M), 4 (B, F, J, N), 6 (C, G, K, O), and nine-month-old (D, H, L, P) 5xTg mice were stained with antibodies against Aβ42 (A–D), Aβ40 (E–H), GFAP (I–L), and microglia (M–P).
