Education

After medical school at the University of Strasbourg, he pursued Neurology studies, and PhD studies in Vision Sciences (on eye movements) at the University of Strasbourg, followed by a Postdoctoral fellowship in Vision Sciences at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, and the Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto. He completed his residency training in Neuropathology at the University of Toronto and a fellowship in eye pathology and glaucoma research at the University of California, San Diego.
