Bio

(1) We reported that beta-secretase cleaves alpha2,6-sialyltransferase, which is the first physiological substrate of the secretase.

(2) We found two transferrin isoforms in cerebrospinal fluid. Brain-specific isoform was a diagnostic marker for idiopathic normal pressure hydrocephalus.
