I obtained my MScR in Integrative Neuroscience at the University of Edinburgh in 2021. I continued as a Research Assistant under the direction of Prof. Karen Horsburgh at the University of Edinburgh investigating the disruption of the neuro-glial-vascular unit in cerebral small vessel disease, particularly focusing on the role of pericytes in haemodynamic regulation. I joined the UK Dementia Research Institute at the University of Edinburgh in January 2023 to expand my expertise with Dr. Axel Montagne focusing on the cerebrovascular and inflamm-ageing link to neurodegeneration and dementia.
