Isotype: IgG2a
Source: Manuela Neumann
Formulation: Cell culture supernatant
Reactivity:
Reacts in: Human, Mouse
Availability: Confirmed available Oct 2014
Immunogen/Epitope
immunogen = phosphopeptide pS409/410 (SMDSKS(p)S(p)GWG), corresponding to amino acids 404-413 of human TDP-43, coupled to BSA or ovalbumin.
Specificity
Detects C-terminal TDP-43 phosphorylated at serine 409 and 410. Does not react with the non-phosphorylated protein. By immunohistochemistry, labels a variety of TDP-43 inclusions, including neuronal cytoplasmic inclusions, dystrophic neurites, neuronal intranucelar inclusions, and glial cytoplasmic inclusions.
