Is Cdc42 expressed in these cell types displaying dendritic reductions in the PDAPP mice? Scott et al. (1) find that Cdc42 mutant VS neurons display increased dendritic length. Zhu et al. (2) find that Cdc42 is upregulated in select neuronal populations in AD. Might it suggest that this upregulation may explain reduced dendritic length in AD?
