About AlzBiomarker
FAQ
How do I recommend a paper for inclusion in the database?
If we have overlooked a study that may be eligible for inclusion, please contact us at alzbiomarker@alzforum.org.
May I download the data?
Please contact us at alzbiomarker@alzforum.org if you would like to request data.
How do I report an error or omission in the data?
We welcome your feedback. Please contact us at alzbiomarker@alzforum.org.
How did you determine whether overlapping subjects were included in multiple studies?
If multiple studies drew upon the same large cohort (e.g., ADNI, Swedish BioFINDER), we assumed overlap and selected the paper with the largest number of subjects. When subjects in multiple papers with common authors were described as being drawn from the same medical clinics, the corresponding author(s) were contacted and asked whether there was any overlap of subjects among the studies; if the authors indicated that there was significant overlap, the paper with the largest number of subjects was selected for the meta-analyses.
How do I cite the database?
To cite the database, please use the following format: AlzBiomaker Database, Version # (www.alzforum.org/alzbiomarker). Alzforum. Date of Access. You may also cite the paper in which Version 1.0 results were published, Olsson et al., 2016 (see full citation below).
Have findings from the AlzBiomarker database been published?
Version 1.0 of the database, including the first 30 meta-analyses from AlzBiomarker, have been published.
