Last Wednesday, the Japanese film Memories of Tomorrow premiered in Los Angeles, California. One viewer was Richard Bozanich, who is a former managing editor of Variety, the newspaper covering the entertainment industry. Featured briefly as an “Early Memory Loss Patient” in a short promotional sequence by the Alzheimer Association, Bozanich first got to see himself on the screen and then assessed how director and leading star Ken Watanabe plays a man whose memory unravels in mid-life.
