Description

BBRC is looking for a full-time position for a Phd student interested in analyzing neuropsychological and neuroimaging data and disseminating scientific production in the context of clinical neuroscience and Alzheimer’s disease research.

The candidate will work within the Neuroimaging group led by Dr. Gemma Salvadó.

Main Responsibilities

The responsibilities for this position include:

  • Participate in the analysis, writing and publication of results.
  • Participate in the clinical projects of the research group, providing scientific and/or clinical information.
  • Prepare internal project reports, presentations at scientific conferences and scientific articles.
  • Participate in regular internal meetings as well as in external collaborations.

We offer

  • Starting date: ASAP.
  • Contract linked to the award of a doctorate.
  • Salary will depend on experience and will be in accordance to BBRC’s salary scales.
  • Full time position 38 hours/week with flexible working hours.
  • Hybrid work model (on-site + teleworking) subject to the foundation’s regulations.

Requirements

Qualifications and experience

  • An M.Sc. in neuroscience, biomedicine, biomedical engineering or similar.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills in English.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and with a high degree of autonomy.
  • Highly motivated and organized.
  • Previous experience in neuroimaging processing is desirable but not necessary.
  • Additional: Interest in neurodegenerative diseases
