Alzheimer ́s disease poses one of the most pressing challenges for health research today.
Bringing together leading experts from a wide spectrum of fields, the first Düsseldorf-Jülich Symposium on Neurodegenerative Diseases will serve as a forum for interdisciplinary perspectives on Alzheimer’s pathology, with a focus on translational aspects between fundamental research and clinical application.
All speakers will give thorough general introductions into their respective fields before presenting their own latest research. In light of the high degree of specialization within Alzheimer’s research, this format will create the basis for cross-disciplinary discussions. It furthermore provides an opportunity for early career researchers to learn about the current state of knowledge in a broad spectrum of Alzheimer’s related fields from renowned international scientists.
The two-day meeting will include a poster session. Participants from all career levels are invited to submit abstracts on research relevant to the topics covered by the symposium. Please note that due to limited space for the poster session, not all abstracts can be accepted for poster presentation.
Registration is free, but limited. Please register at the latest until Sept 30, 2015
Abstract submissions for poster presentations will be accepted until August 15, 2015 and submitters will be notified shortly after if their abstract has been chosen.
Please find further information concerning registration and poster abstract submission here.
We hope you will join us in North Rhine-Westphalia’s beautiful capital for two days of lively discussions, innovative ideas, collaboration and networking.
