Immunogen/Epitope

Balb/c mice were immunized with a KLH-coupled pyroglutamate-
Abeta-peptide with the peptide pEFRHD-C.
After preparation of the lymph nodes, cells were fused with the myeloma cell line P3-963-Ag8

Specificity

reactive to N-terminal truncated Abeta 3-X starting with pyroglutamate (pGlu, pE). Does not cross-react with N-terminal truncated Abeta 11-X starting with pGlu.
