This course is designed for physicians, neuroscientists and other health professionals who are interested in genetics of Alzheimer’s and other dementing diseases. It is intended to update health care professionals in the field of neurogenetic research on the advancements and recent discoveries of Alzheimer disease. Upon conclusion of this course, the participant should be able to review the basic principles of neurogenetics that apply to Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias, discuss new research strategies to determine genetic polymorphisms and risk factors for Alzheimer disease, and describe potential molecular therapies for the dementias based on recent developing genetic data.

The registration fee of $100.00 entitles the participant admission to the conference, all course materials,Thursday refreshment break and reception, and Friday breakfast, refreshment breaks and lunch. Enrollment is confirmed upon receipt of registration fee. We are unable to process any registration without payment. We cannot guarantee course materials on site to anyone registering after October 13, 2005.
