This Protocol database collects experimental protocols of specific importance for Alzheimer disease research. These include protocols for preparing tissues and cell cultures, purifying and identifying biomolecules that may play a role in disease pathogenesis, methods for working with various model systems, imaging studies, behavioral assays, and so forth. Our aims are to help you by reducing the time spent responding to individual requests for protocols, and to make it easier for all investigators to successfully access and use the protocols. Researchers can post questions and answers by contacting us (please select Protocols and Reagents in the dropdown menu).

Please contribute protocols via our Protocol Submission Form and reagents via our Reagent Submission Form. We also greatly welcome suggestions for protocols you would like to see included in the database. Thank you for your participation!
