  1. An interesting study that correlates NFT and SP density in neocortex with ideomotor and constructive praxis in AD. It is not clear from the abstract how many neocortical areas were studied in the 23 patients examined - an issue to be considered in the analysis of multiple comparisons. NFT densities in selected cortical regions correlated with praxis. "Senile plaque densities do not represent a valuable pathologic correlate of apraxia in this disorder.
