Whatever burden the cell or animal is suffering (oxygen, stress, trauma, transgene, etc.), if that burden is related to Alzheimer's, one can be tempted to name it "a model of AD", but with no guarantee. In that case, all interventions able to decrease the burden are likely to provoke a recovery, pushing you to conclude that you have "a compelling therapeutic lead".
