I recommend this paper
This paper presents data on the utility of CSF measures of amyloid β fragments and tau for the differentiation of cases of Alzheimer's from other clinical conditions. The data again show a marked reduction in Aβ in CSF from AD patients, but also show that a combination of Aβ fragments plus tau measures better differentiate AD from other chronic CNS conditions.
