I recommend this paper
Posttranslational processing of proteins clearly serves vital functions in normal and diseased cellular functioning. It is refreshing to see tau examined with regard to something other than phosphorylation/truncation, though this is not the first paper to do so. The abstract is not clear as to which of the multitude of potential phosphorylation/glycosylation sites on tau were studied. View all comments by Paul Coleman
