REAGENTS/MATERIAL:

For immunoblotting rabbit polyclonal anti-adenylyl cyclase types II and III, purchased from Santa Cruz Biotechnology (Santa Cruz, CA), were used at a dilution of 1:200 for these studies. CREB immunoblotting was conducted with a rabbit polyclonal CREB antibody (1:500; Upstate Biotechnology Incorporated, Lake Placid, NY).

For immunohistology mouse brain sections were incubated overnight at 4°C in antibody solution (0.25% Triton X-100, 1% BSA in PBS) containing anti-phospho-CREB antibody (Upstate Biotechnology) at 1:2000 dilution.
