REAGENTS/MATERIAL:

Western blot was performed using a rabbit antibody (1:1,000) directed against the pro domain of NGF (amino acids 23–81) of human NGF. Immunoprecipitations were performed using anti-p75NTR (number 9993) and anti-TrkA antisera (Santa Cruz), and anti-sortilin (Transduction Biolabs, anti-NTR3 612101).

Neuronal cultures were processed for TUNEL analysis and counterstained with anti-neuronal-specific b-tubulin Tuj1 (Covance).
