NeuroCog Trials, a rapidly growing company with close ties to Duke University Medical Center, has been involved in design and implementation of multisite clinical trials, including rater training, data quality assurance, and neurocognitive test development, for 10 years.
We are looking to fill a full-time Ph.D.-level position. This individual will assist in novel test development and validation, trial design, data analysis and interpretation, and business development, and will oversee neurocognitive rater certification and data quality control for multisite pharmaceutical company trials, primarily in Alzheimer's disease, aging, and schizophrenia.
These clinical trials usually involve a large meeting of investigators and testers who require certification. Travel to U.S. or international meetings is expected. Familiarity with cognitive assessment is essential. Expertise in visual design, presentation, and software development is a plus.
The starting salary will be competitive with pharmaceutical industry standards with medical benefits.
Additional requirements: Ph.D. in psychology, neurosciences or related field; experience with neuropsychological or cognitive data collection and analysis; ability to travel on limited basis (average of three-five days per month); large-group presentation skills. Experience with dementia or schizophrenia is a plus.
