Johns Hopkins Schizophrenia Center invites applications for two different categories of job opportunities (1-assistant professor and 3-postdoctoral fellows).

First, the center has opening for a new tenure-track faculty position at the assistant professor level. Candidates interested in the biology of psychiatric disorders with expertise in stem cell biology, epigenetics, and immune/inflammatory signaling will be considered.

Second, the center has opening for postdoctoral fellows. The projects include 1) stem cell biology using biospecimens from patients with mental illness, with an emphasis on glia-neuron interaction, and 2) GAPDH-GOSPEL signaling and stress response in mental illness (Hara et al., 2005; Sen et al., 2009), and 3) translational and analytical study that links brain imaging and molecular genomics.

Applicants should submit (preferably, as a single PDF file) curriculum vitae, list of publications, summary of research accomplishments, and (for application for the assistant professor position) a description of their future research plans, by 30 June 2013.
