The conference will feature a wide range of topics, such as functional studies of human mutations, discriminating disease-causing and harmless mutations, characterizing common patterns of human genetic variation, regulatory SNPs and disease, assessing the effect of missense mutations on protein stability and dynamics, missense mutations and protein-protein interactions, identification of core pathways and driver genes in cancer, prediction of disease-related genes from mutation patterns and interaction networks, and missense mutations causing rare diseases. The conference will bring together investigators and will provide opportunities for junior scientists and graduate students to present their work in poster format and exchange ideas with leaders in the field. Some poster presenters will be selected for short talks. Applications for this meeting must be submitted by July 6, 2014.
