Investigators at the University of Michigan are seeking participants for research on the impact of genetic risk assessment for Alzheimer’s disease. The study explores different methods for giving people the results of genetic testing that provides information about one’s future risk of developing Alzheimer’s disease. The study involves a brief screening visit or telephone interview, a medical and neurological history, an educational session, a blood draw for genetic testing, a disclosure session to discuss results, and follow-up interviews for one year. Participants will meet with a certified genetic counselor and receive the education, risk assessment, and genetic counseling free of charge.

Call the REVEAL study team at (734)-763-7726 or email them at mailto:hbhegenetics@umich.edu - hbhegenetics@umich.edu for additional information. You can also find more information at their website: http://sitemaker.umich.edu/hbhegenetics/reveal - sitemaker.umich.edu/hbhegenetics/reveal
