Non-invasive, Non-drug Dementia Clinical Trial

Quietmind Foundation, a nonprofit research and training organization, is sponsoring a clinical trial of 1,072-nm infrared light stimulation for people with early to mid-stage dementia. The protocol involves 28 consecutive 15-minute sessions and two days of testing before and after the trial period. The purpose of the study is to evaluate the 1,072-nm frequency of infrared light as a way to influence both cognitive and behavioral symptoms of dementing illness.

Subjects will be paid $250 for their participation.
